After many consultations with key people in the field of psychiatric rehabilitation in Israel and after it was convinced that there was a real need, the Lazlo N. Tauber Foundation decided to initiate the establishment of the Israeli Psychiatric Rehabilitation Association. This is in order to empower the field and create a professional home for all people involved in psychiatric rehabilitation. The foundation provides an initial budget for the organization's organization.
